"Girlfriend" 1995-1999 - This was New Year's at
Patrick Callery's. Me and Patrick and Farsi Girl. Patrick had a show with Polly Apfelbaum
and his cat "Girlfriend" kept messing it up, so he had to give her away. This is
a collage to represent their loyalty in spirit.

"Girls Guide to Home Alone Etiquette" 1995-1999 -
This is a video grab from the video of the same title. I never got in the habit of
shopping during the day so when I got home there wasn't much to eat. I had to shop at the
train station, the equivalent of eating at a bus station. I lived in a boys boarding
school in Vienna and I often late at night ate in front of the fridge.

"Self Portrait with Glove" - I'm wearing a
sanitation glove because that's the new craze, keeping germ-free. I wore a venetian mask
preparing myself for I don't know what. I started this series in Austria but didn't finish
it until I started working in a grocery store and collecting grocery lists. I am very
obsessed with gloves especially when trimmed with fur or embellished with lace.

"Billa" - I preferred shopping at the Ka De Ve in
Berlin, a Julius Meinle in Vienna, But this is when I shopped in moments of desperation.
These are junkies in front of Billa. This is near the Bundes Konvict in the 2nd District.
The 2nd District is like the 10th district is like the East side South side far side. As
one man put it dryly "I go to New York more often than I do your neighborhood."

"Quest Query Quarry" - This is an abandoned
limestone quarry affectionately known as "Cementville". When we were in school
our desks would shake and the ground would tremble from the occasional blasting. It was a
separate community the people who worked there lived there. High School keg parties would
migrate there after hours because there was no police. The quarry relocated outside of
town. The area has been redeveloped as "The Quarry" - a suburban shopping
center.

"Romerquelle" - Photo collage. Sanitation glove
holding bottled water with scary hand crawling on opposite left. A commentary on the
preciousness of water.

|
"Red Dan" - This is a video grab taken from video
footage at Teatro Malibran while installing Club Berlin for the Aperto Biennal XXV. Dan
Graham wrote a book called Rock My Religion (video included). Its also on my
video "Love for Three Oranges" 1995

I took this picture in Paraguay while doing
volunteer work for Amigos de Las Americas

Portrait of Jutta Koether - This is a video grab and portrait
of Jutta Koether, a painter and writer. This was taken at Palazzo Moconiego in Venice,
Italy (Byron's old studio). This is taken from my video "Love for Three Oranges"
1995

This is taken outside of "Andy's Room". That's
Mitch over my shoulder....you can't smell his breath but there's a hint of gin. Mitch is a
social activist (someday). Chris Holding the gun cigarette lighter is a professional
panhandler and trainhopper and soon to be cargo stow-a-way. He's Keroac incarnate. I wish
he'd keep a journal. Chantra, my neighbor, is a waitress goth/punk earth mama. She's
thinking about law or medium school. Tonight, she has shared her Smithsonian with me. She
thinks I look like "Madame X". We all celebrate and pay homage to John Singer
Sargent.
